One of the main players in the french and world airport sector, Sovam, has chosen Transfluid as a partner in the building of some of its vehicles. For decades, Sovam has been building all types of airport vehicles both civil and military, such as: aircraft maintenance platforms, escalators, tractors for aircraft and luggage traction, vehicles for the transport of drinking water and for the discharge of waste water.

Transfluid supports Sovam by supplying its historic Rangermatic 21-700 transmissions on tractors for air and luggage transport, successfully contributing to guarantee the quality of their vehicles.

                           

Baggage transport vehicles, with two forward and one reverse gears, also thanks to Transfluid’s powershift transmissions, have high traction performance, robustness and low breakage levels.

Rangermatic 21-700 transmissions with torque converter are in fact the result of careful engineering development for the industrial/mining sector, for which service factor and reliability, in severe working conditions, are high. The advantage of an industrial transmission is that it gives excellent performance in the traction of large loads such as planes weighing more than 20 tons.
