DE SIMONE: “PROUD WITH A LOOK TO THE FUTURE”
For the European Rowing Championships in Varese (9-11 April), Transfluid-Bellmarine, company leader in eco-sustainable propulsion for marine and industrial applications, will provide two boats with electric and hybrid propulsion systems during the event.
“We are proud that the European Championships hosted on our Lake Varese have a very marked trait of environmental sustainability. The issue of respect for the environment and the elimination of any possible pollutant is important to us and it is a step in this direction – declares Dino De Simone, Councilor for the Environment, Wellness and Sport of the Municipality of Varese -. We thank the local company that has decided to provide its means to make sustainable navigation possible. The limelight of a continental event will ensure that this can be seen, known and appreciated by as many people as possible. The next goal we want to achieve is to place columns on the stable piers of Lake Varese, thanks to which electric boats can recharge ”.
“Transfluid-Bellmarine is proud to be able to make its contribution to this important sporting event that animates our territory and our lake, providing two boats with electric and hybrid propulsion systems. Eco-sustainable navigation is now the future thanks to which it will be possible to guarantee greater protection of our lakes, rivers and seas, offering numerous advantages such as: the absence of noise and vibrations for a silent navigation that allows better contact with the surrounding nature, the absence or reduction of exhaust gases with less pollution of the environment, high yields in favor of lower energy consumption and last but not least the reduction of the particularly heavy wave motion in inland waters. Transfluid has always been sensitive to eco-sustainability issues and is particularly committed to the study of these new technologies for marine and industrial propulsion Participate with our small contribution to the Europeans of rowing, a sport that combines sporting activity with contact with nature, seems to us a good sign for our territory“.
